When you can play
The official release date is September 24, 2026. KONAMI’s announcement and the PlayStation Store both say so.
The Steam store page currently reads September 23. That is not a second release date. It is a storefront display convention plus time-zone conversion. The safest reference is the countdown on your own platform’s store page and library.
Digital Deluxe pre-orders include 48 hours of early access, so Deluxe buyers start two days before Standard buyers. The publisher only gives the relative “48 hours” figure. It has not published a start time per region.

How the 48-hour early access window works
It is a pre-order benefit attached to the Digital Deluxe edition. You cannot buy it separately. The window is calculated backwards from the launch moment, which means:
- The countdown on your platform is the moment your account can get in
- Progress made during early access carries over to launch day, so you do not restart
- The publisher has not published streaming or spoiler rules for the early access window. If you plan to stream or upload, read the video and screenshot guidelines it published on September 8
Preload: no official word yet
As of September 20, 2026, there is no published preload time and no statement about which editions can preload. To check for yourself:
- Open your platform’s store page or library and look for a preload or pre-download button
- Watch official channels rather than second-hand posts
- Free up space now; the PC version asks for 75 GB of available storage
