Is SILENT HILL: Townfall a Full Game? Why It Costs $49.99
Is SILENT HILL: Townfall a full game or a short spin-off? Official scope, the $49.99 and $59.99 prices, and what a cheaper price does and does not tell you.

The short answer
It is a full game. KONAMI and Annapurna Interactive are releasing it as a new entry in the series, developed by Screen Burn Interactive: a single-player, first-person psychological horror game at full length. Not a remake, not a demo, not a bundled extra. The official store lists it alongside SILENT HILL 2 and SILENT HILL f as its own title.
Why it looks cheap
US pricing is $49.99 for the Standard edition and $59.99 for Digital Deluxe, one step below the $70 tier that is now common. That gap is exactly why two questions keep coming up: whether this is a full game, and why it costs less.
The prices are confirmed. Both official stores list the same numbers. What the publisher has not done is explain the lower price point. Claims like “it must be short” or “it is an experiment” are guesses, and this page does not treat them as answers.
The Deluxe edition adds a digital art book, a soundtrack app, Simon’s alternate outfit and 48-hour early access. Those are extras and convenience, not a second game. If you only want the game itself, Standard is the complete product.

| Digital art book and soundtrack app | No | Yes |

Three checks before buying
- Platforms: PlayStation 5, Steam and Epic Games Store only. No Xbox, no Switch, and no multiplayer mode.
- Languages: the official Steam page lists 14 interface languages including Simplified Chinese, with full voice audio in English and Japanese.
- What to expect: the official 18-minute gameplay video shows first-person exploration, CRTV tuning, stealth and optional combat. If you want a traditional third-person action game, watch that footage first.
What is still unanswered
There is no official playtime figure and no chapter count. Hour estimates circulating online come from leaks and second-hand reports. See how long it takes to beat.
