SILENT HILL: Townfall Monsters: What Is Confirmed
See what official sources confirm about SILENT HILL: Townfall monsters, their senses, combat and evasion rules, CRTV detection and unnamed status.

What has actually been confirmed
SILENT HILL: Townfall trailers and official articles show hostile creatures in St. Amelia and the red-lit Otherworld. However, KONAMI and Screen Burn have not published a complete bestiary, official creature names, health values or weakness charts.
The useful confirmed information concerns behavior. Some enemies can be fought, while other encounters require evasion. Creatures use their senses to search for Simon, and detection can lead to a chase with serious consequences.
How Simon detects threats
The CRTV can reveal nearby creatures through fog and environmental obstacles. A threat may appear through unstable visual information before Simon has a direct line of sight. This turns the device into a planning tool rather than a simple alarm.
The peek mechanic complements it. Simon can look around or over cover while reducing exposure, then use walls, cars and fences to plan movement. Sound can draw attention, giving the player another way to change a creature’s route.
Combat and forced evasion
Official descriptions distinguish between enemies where combat is an important survival option and enemies where evasion is the only answer. This means a future monster guide must not assume every creature has a conventional kill strategy.
PlayStation’s hands-on report describes a difficult first-person melee encounter and warns that Simon can be overwhelmed. Limited peripheral vision makes multiple threats especially dangerous.
Why this is not a full bestiary yet
Community nicknames based on screenshots are not official names. Trailer frame analysis also cannot establish an enemy’s full move set, spawn locations or symbolic meaning. This page will only add a named entry after final-game evidence or an official source supports it.
