PlayStation’s hands-on report says SILENT HILL: Townfall offers a 30 fps Quality setting and a 60 fps Performance setting on PS5. The game uses a 2.35:1 presentation to create a cinematic frame.

Exact render resolutions were not published in the report. A mode name and frame-rate target should not be converted into an unsupported pixel count.

DualSense features

Adaptive triggers reproduce resistance associated with firearms. Haptic feedback communicates impacts during combat and can convey the heavy footsteps of a creature approaching while Simon is hidden.

Motion controls support aiming and CRTV interaction. With motion input enabled, the player can move or twist the controller to tune weak signals. This reinforces the idea that Simon is physically manipulating an object rather than selecting a menu option.

PS5 Pro and graphics

The hands-on article identifies Townfall as PS5 Pro enhanced and says it uses upgraded PSSR for high-resolution presentation. It also describes ray-traced environments across the fog-filled normal world and the red-lit Otherworld.

These are preview statements, not an independent frame-time analysis. The final game still requires technical testing before claims about locked performance, exact resolution or image-quality differences can be made.

What is not confirmed
