Confirmed character overview

Official pre-release material centers on Simon Ordell, the player character, and Zoe, a nurse from St. Amelia. Their relationship is deliberately unclear. The game asks players to discover why Simon was summoned back and why Zoe’s CRTV messages seem to both recognize and question him.

Simon Ordell

Simon is the first-person protagonist. He reaches St. Amelia with an IV bag and a medical wristband carrying his name, but he does not recognize the island. A mysterious call instructs him to return and “put things right.”

The developers describe him as layered, uncertain and deeply human. Guilt is a major theme in his journey, but official material does not state what he did or whether his memories are reliable. Claims about a specific crime, diagnosis or supernatural identity are therefore speculation.

Zoe

Zoe lives on St. Amelia and works as a nurse at a local family clinic. She is described as dedicated and compelled to help people in need. Her voice reaches Simon through the CRTV, asking him to come back to her while also asking what he is doing on the island.

That conflicting communication is an intentional mystery. Puzzles and signals appear connected to Zoe’s and St. Amelia’s past, but her fate and exact relationship to Simon are unrevealed.

What is known about the cast?

Third-party databases list several actors, but the official KONAMI, Screen Burn, Annapurna and PlayStation pages available during this review do not provide a complete actor-to-character mapping. This wiki does not convert an IMDb entry or community guess into confirmed casting.

When an official credit list or the final game’s credits become available, names can be added with role and language clearly separated. Until then, “Simon’s actor is confirmed” would overstate the evidence.
